Terms & Conditions

Hannah Jewellery Designs hereafter referred to as HJD.


Once you have decided to purchase a piece of Hannah Jewellery, simple click on the Add to Basket button at the bottom of the item description. You will then be taken to your basket where you can add and remove items to finalise your selection. You must click to agree to these Terms and Conditions before clicking the "Go to Checkout" button or your order cannot be processed. You will then be taken to PayPal's secure online payment website where you can enter your payment details to complete your order. Once processed your order will be transferred to HJD without your payment details so Hannah can fill out your purchase order. See Privacy Policy for more details. You will receive one email from us to confirm receipt of your order and another when your goods are shipped to allow you to organise a presence at the delivery address as your parcel will need to be signed for on receipt. Payment will be through PayPal's secure reliable online payment system to ensure maximum protection for ourselves and the customer. PayPal accepts all major credit cards and payments from PayPal accounts. You don't need a PayPal account to order, order confirmation will be sent from PayPal directly.

All products remain the property of HJD until payment has been made in full.


All "In stock" items will be shipped within 3-4 working days of HJD receiving the order. For items which are "Out of stock", or made to order please allow 2-4 weeks due to the hand making process and hallmarking times.

Postage is currently FREE OF CHARGE for Royal Mail Registered Post within the UK only. For Royal Mail Special Delivery or any other forms of carriage please email me as a small extra cost may be incurred. Also for carriage charges outside of the UK please email me.

You will receive an email to inform you when your items are shipped as it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they are available to sign for their purchase upon delivery and that the delivery details they have provided are complete and correct. HJD cannot be held responsible for any delays once the order has been shipped.

At present the online shopping portion of this site can only be used within the U.K, for shipping times and prices to the rest of the world, please feel free to email Hannah.

If you have particular requirements regarding delivery dates, customisation or bespoke work, please contact Hannah.

All HJD jewellery comes carefully packaged in stylish black and silver presentation boxes for your convenience and to ensure maximum protection during transit.


Due to their personal nature, bespoke and customised pieces cannot be returned or refunded. The design process from initial design to final delivery will be explained fully before any agreement to purchase is made and a contract with its own terms and conditions for bespoke work shall be drawn up between the customer and HJD in this case.

Customised and bespoke work also includes current lines made to unusual sizes, colour ways or surface finishes etc which are not normally a stock option.

If you are not completely happy with your purchase of a stock line (I.e. one we regularly stock) please return it to HJD within 7 days of receipt in perfect, unworn condition and with its original packaging for a full refund. HJD will not be liable for your return postage costs.

Hannah Jewellery Design website payment pages are held on PayPal servers to ensure they are secure and reliable. HJD does not see your credit/debit card details as all payment transactions are completed by using Paypal.

Any information you provide is strictly confidential. Your details will NOT be passed or sold to a third party. To receive product information and exclusive promotions, you may opt to subscribe to Hannah's mailing list. You can do this through the website HERE. The details you provide will be held and used only by Hannah for direct emailing that may be of interest to you. You may request to be taken off my mailing list at any time simply by emailing me. Your information will only be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. You may email me to check the information I hold about you at any time.


Every effort is made to ensure all images are a true representation of the finished product, however there may be slight variations due to screen resolution, the browser used, etc. Product images may not show the actual size of the jewellery, please refer to the dimensions given on individual product pages for actual sizes of each piece. Due to the handmade nature of the jewellery, there may also be slight variations between individual pieces.

We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any product(s) on this site, or the descriptive information pertaining to any product. We also reserve the right to change prices at any time without giving notice of this. However once an order is confirmed the price will be adhered to, irrespective of the length of any elapsed time between this and the order fulfilment. In the unlikely event of the goods delivered not corresponding to the order, Hannah must be informed by email within 7 working days of the delivery. You will then be advised on how the problem will be rectified. Orders are accepted at Hannah's sole discretion. If for any reason an order placed cannot be accepted you will be informed of this without delay and any payments made will be refunded in full.


All rights, including copyright, relating to the content of this website are the sole property of Hannah Bates trading as Hannah Jewellery Designs. Copying any material from this site, in whole or in part, is prohibited unless prior written consent is obtained from Hannah. All intellectual property relating to and inherent in the designs, images and products are, and will remain, the property of Hannah Bates. Any infringement of these rights will be actively contested.
